I was born in Fort Collins, a small town in Colorado, near the Colorado Rockies, it is very beautiful country, it has a lot to offer a poet. I am a father of 3 wonderful children and a grandfather of 8 beautiful grandchildren. I am retired from the Bell system, so I have a lots of time to write. I also went to school to be massage therapist and therefore I love to help people feel good. I have written about 200 poems, they are not all published or copyrighted, so I have a lot to offer to Helium. I also have a song that I wrote that is copyrighted by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. The song is about the day Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, My song is called "Katrina's Scorn" I sing the song along with my brother. I also have poems published in Poetry.com. My passion is to write, I enjoy it very much. Being a poet I need to have a passion to write but sometimes I have my slow periods and I need to find the passion. I started book a couple of years ago and it is not yet ready for publication, but some day. I want to thank Helium for the opportunity to write and share my passion and experiences.
