Who am I?
You might define me by what I have done. I am a graduate of Rutgers University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. I focused on political theory and the history of early modern Europe. I went on to compete a master's degree in education and earn a K-12 teaching certificate in social studies.
Or you might define me by what I do. As I am finishing up my graduate studies, I am building a resume as an educator. I student taught a semester of World History in Old Bridge, New Jersey. I have substitute taught and tutored students for the SATs. Now I'm beginning my first full time teaching job in an urban district in New Jersey.
Perhaps you would define me by what I enjoy. Aside from history and political theory, I enjoy computing very much. I have dabbled in web design and computer programming. Recently, I took up web applications in PHP and found it very interesting. I also enjoy reading the news and learning about the world around me. Education doesn't stop with a degree.
Or, perhaps, I'm just a writer. Suffice it to say that my writings will contain all these things (education, history, political theory, world news, web design, computer programming) and everything else that interests me.
