: About Me

I've always been interested in writing but never found the time to pursue it. Now that I'm semi-retired, I have more time to devote to this favorite hobby of mine. My interests are quite varied so you'll find my articles written on a number of different subjects. Variety is the spice of life, I feel. I went back to school after I raised my family and sent them off to college. I completed a couple of years of college at that time and still do take some online college courses. I really enjoy researching new topics that I'm unfamiliar with. I recently started reading and writing on spirituality and religion, which I also really enjoy doing. Helium gives writers the opportunity to write and express themselves, weather they're professionals or just beginners, which I really appreciate. I'm proud to say that I made the Helium front page with an article I wrote recently on the "Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
