While I was in prison I thought that I was a good father, a role model to my children, and an effective parent. What was I thinking? Obviously I had some kind of short circuit somewhere because there is no possible way to be an effective parent from behind bars. None! I was living in a fantasy where I was some kind of hero to my children, but in reality I was an embarrassment to them.
