Is eating meat wrong? In a word, yes. When human beings can derive all the nutrients that meat offers from plant-based sources, there is no reason why another living being should lose its life just because a human likes the taste of its flesh. Humans: carnivores or herbivores? Many meat-eaters cite primitive humans' reliance on meat and the presence of thumbs on human hands and so-called "canine teeth" in the human mouth as evidence that humans are omnivorous beings who must eat meat to survive.
