I'll start with the basics- i'm 29, British, although married to an American in the US Army and we are currently living in the States. We have a baby boy, Alexander, who is our world. We're delighted to be expecting our 2nd child in the Summer.
I'm relishing the joys of full- time motherhood although I am also a student at The Institute of Children's Literature. I have ambitions of becoming a successful author of children's spiritual fiction. I also am a member of Toastmasters, an organisation that helps develop public speaking and leadership skills. Once a week too my son and I go to MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) which we love.
Before I met my husband I was a flight attendant and worked out of Gatwick airport in London. My goodness, I loved that job- travel is a passion of mine and I got to have several trips a month to very unusual destinations such as Sierra Leone and Ghana. In fact I met my husband in the former- he was deployed there for 6 months.
My love of writing has grown over the years-at school I was an avid writer and English was my favourite subject. My English teacher was an inspiration to me and I shall never forget her influence and encouragement. I continued to study Literature at university in London and thrived there. To be frank, life and the necessity of having to earn a living got in the way of my writing after uni but now that I am more settled I'm picking up the pen again- determined and motivated to excel in what I know i'm meant to do.
I would just like to add that many of my articles are written in an artistic form and thus much of what I write is purely creative and fictional. Please don't think it is always biographical!
My passion is ...
My family! After that, and in no particular order, God, Spirituality, my homeland, England, history, red wine, travelling, TV (i'm afraid), cats, shopping, yoga, walking, reading Spiritual books and writing
I know too much about ...
Nothing to be perfectly honest! You can know a great deal about a subject but i'm a firm believer that the more intelligent person has more questions than answers.
My parents always told me ...
How to properly hold my knife and fork! They're very traditionally English and etiquette is high on their priority list although I place a lot less importance on it!
My childhood ambition ...
To be a successful writer and an Air Hostess. 1 out of 2 thus far fulfilled!
My favorite memory ...
My childhood was a magical time. I remember the anticipation of christmas was simply overwhelming. I just wish, in adulthood, I could learn to recapture that tangible essence of sheer excitment
Why I write ...
It helps me to clarify my feelings and passions. I write to get it off my mind so its almost a theraputic act. I also enjoy reading back, years later, my work and noting how my situation has perhaps altered. Writing is such a profound window into the soul.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I'm very much into spirituality and am currently reading the New Revelations by the legend that is Neale Donald Walsch and also Richard Websters Praying with Angels.
My first job ...
Paper girl when I was 14 years old. I earned $16 a week and mum used to help with the round too but kindly let me keep the money!
My best moment ...
The day I gave birth to my precious little angel- 31st July 2008. Oooh, and I best add in my wedding day here too!
My inspiration ...
My family- I want to make them proud.

Dear God, You have shown me the depths of love through blessed motherhood: Having children has revived my Soul like nothing else could. I pray my son and daughter walk in faith, always towards You And when they fall to doubt, You’ll dust them off and carry them through. May their happiness stem from within, derived from simple pleasures, Not from society’s standards- material gain- and such measures. Let my children celebrate their Spirits; honor its desires, Let them relish their life purpose before time expires. I hope their lives are rich in travel, adventure and self-growth...
