Exhausted, I climb the steps to my flat in Italy. Reflecting over interactions with close friends, quizzing and conjugating my weak Italian, struggling to not loose balance with a child on each hip and two behind me pulling on my shirt, ready to begin dinner for my husband who will soon be arriving home... Wait that's not today.
Today, I am a wife and a mother of only two. Only one step leads to my small two bedroom home in Conway, AR where I am concerned with sweeping up cookie crumbs and encouraging my three year old to not quiz me on bodily functions. My desk is overflowing with half written stories and my cell has stopped receiving messages wondering if I will call those received today during nap time.
Three jobs, two toddlers, a husband, friends, dreams, and a messy house all cry for my attention. And I love them all-except, the messy part.
Some of the dreams I have lived:
Traveled to Israel, Egypt, Russia, Venezuela, Mexico, Grand Cayman
Received my Masters of Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary
The beginnings of a larger family. A great husband and two beautiful toddlers.
