Hello to the Helium Community!
I am a 53 year old male living in Menasha, Wisconsin. I have been writing poetry for many years and have had my works published in various anthologies all across the United States. Currently my latest manuscript is being sent to publishers. This is the first time I have tried to get a publisher interested in my works as an entire collection.
I have recently started writing a fiction work which I am enjoying immensely, though is has been a long time since I have attempted this. I do like to write short stories as well but my mind set is on a full length novel. I am certain that I will be in this for the duration.
I am very new to the Helium Community and any advise any of you old pros here can give me would be well appreciated. I am looking forward to reading your posts as well as posting my own works for you to have a look at.

To survive.
My favorite memory ...
Playing touch football in the street with my brothers and friends.
Why I write ...
I write out of a need to express.
My first job ...

My inspiration ...
Deb. My loyal and very best friend, without whom I would not have survived.

It has a lot to do with what "condition" you end up in. And that is either a condition of eternal torment or a condition of being eternally glorified. When we speak of Hell, what are we really speaking of? We have to understand that the lak...
