My name is Teresa. I'm a Capricorn and lesbian. I live with my partner of seven years and our 4 year old foster daughter. I am a member of the Roanoke Pride Committee and long time activist of gay and lesbian rights (GLBT).
I have been published by The Roanoke Times and The Blue Ridge Lambda press several times. I have also had my five minutes of fame on local TV news in Virginia and Tennessee.
I have visited two Virginia Colleges to discuss the importance of voting and equality for GLBT folks.

No! John McCain has not already won the election. The 2008 US election is still very much alive and open. I think McCain and Obama have a long, rough road to travel until November.
