Randy Augsburger lives and writes from an old farm that has been in his family since 1866.
Born in NW Ohio, Randy grew up in a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
In 2001 he was able to move onto the farm where he now lives with his wife Tanya and their three children. His children are the sixth generation on that farm.
He draws on his experiences of hunting, fishing, trapping and prospecting for his writing. On the farm, he writes about his successes and failures while trying to create a chemical free homestead from a worn out old commercial farm.
Randy is also an ordained Southern Baptist Preacher. Although not currently preaching, he still fills in occasionally and writes biblical based articles.
He has been published locally and on the internet.
