As you can tell, I'm a lover of musical theater. Song permeates my life and I'm frequently using lyrics in conversation. If you read between the notes, you'll gather that I have a Bachelors of Arts in English. I also have a Masters of Education: Curriculum & Instruction. I currently work in Student Affairs, and I'm in the process of continuing my education through a doctorate program.
I have enjoyed reading and writing for as long as I can remember- simply devouring books and writing anything and everything, filling pages with words upon words.

My passion is language. I love to read and write. I'm fascinated by grammar and linguistics. And I am quite fond of conversation.

I know too much about General Hospital. I am not sure how I became so addicted to this Soap Opera, but it is my guilty pleasure.

was to become an english teacher. And while I did get certified to teach, I found myself missing my work in Student Affairs and "returned home."

I write because I enjoy it.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I read a lot of crime fiction. I'm currently awaiting the next Scarpetta Novel (Patricia Cornwell) and the next in the Stephanie Plum Series (Janet Evanovich). In the meantime, I'm drinking through the JD Robb series and grabbing miscellaneous fictional novels along the way.
My first job ...
For my first official job, I worked as a cashier at a convenient store.

My inspiration is my 8th grade English teacher, Sr. Thomas. She pushed me to be my best, and really had faith in me.
