I have freelanced in a local newspaper to writing on Helium.com. I have a love for writing. I finished my education from University of Nebraska with a Broadcasting Degree, and I have three minors: English, Music, and Psychology.
I have been credited for the ability to write about many subjects. In order to participate in life you need to learn about other things, and never quit learning. (That’s, until the day you die)!
I have taken that approach in my life in many things that others told me that I could not do, and I showed them that I could. I did that in music, and have been awarded many personal accomplishments because of my "can do attitude!”
I enjoy spending time with my family, and reading is another one of my passions. One of my favorite places to travel is Mexico. I have been there three times!
My favorite sports are golfing, canoeing, and watching my daughters play in their sports.
Another one of my passions is the fine arts, and betterment for the community. I have enjoyed singing, and playing music since I was young. In fact, I have sung in college choruses to Bravo! Vancouver (just across the river from Portland, Oregon). I have been on a few boards from the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra Board to the Rushmore Optimist Club.
Currently, I have been substitute teaching for all educational levels of students, and I am currently attending Black Hills State University as a Secondary Social Science Major.
