My name is Matthew James Evon and I am currently a Senior Accounting Management Major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am enrolled in the Army ROTC program and upon graduation I will be commissioning as a 2nd Lt. in the United States Army. The modern-age of golf has turned from one of shot-shaping and finesse to raw power and aggression. With many of the newer golf courses lengthening their yardage books to well over 7,000 yards, it is obvious that amateur golfers must strengthen their long game while attempting to maintain consistency.
