My name is Chris and I work as a writer, web designer and photographer, specialising in youth issues, entertainment and the social effects of technology.
Though I spend most of my time writing news, reviews and features, I am also a keen creative writer who's poetry has been published in such poetry magazines as The Ugly Tree, Awen and Carillion.
I have also completed several screenplays, one of which was turned into a short film several years ago, and even finished a first draft of a novel which I haven't had time to get back to yet!
When not busy writing, I work as a music promoter and band manager, currently responsible for Wigan based pop-rock act, Social Icons (www.socialicons.co.uk) which involves everything from booking shows, updating their website, working on PR campaigns and more.
When I do get some free time, you'll usually find me snuggled up on the sofa with my gorgous wife, Anna, and our demanding little cat, Sparky.
