: About Me

Hello there to all my fellow Helium writer's.

My New Year's resolution was to finally follow a yearning and a passion that I have had for so long, that is to Write!
So here I am, having written my first public piece on the 1st Jan. 2008.(Yes,I run on impulse)..
Words and thoughts flow freely as I find myself going through my day, making up Poems, singing rhyming Ditty's, jotting down a statement I have just read that has resonated with 'My Soul'. I have an deep thirst for knowledge. And I always seem to have so much to say!

I find as I write, I can at times be overwhelmed by the words that I feel flowing so freely, passionately out of my being. When I wrote the article on 'Reflections: How having a child changed my life',I was literally walking on cloud nine, I was overwhelmed by the happiness, contentment and excitement that was exuding out of my being, I had a permanent smile on my face for days after I submitted it, and felt these wonderful warm fuzzy feelings.
My favorite saying is, "Wherever you go, make a difference." A 'good' difference being my motivation..The world would be a much better place if we all aimed to do good, to give rather than take, to listen rather than demanding to be heard, to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed... Ahh, Yes! I'm a dreamer.......
I look forward to seeing where this wonderful journey of writing will take me. Thank you Helium for giving me my very first opportunity to go public.
