: About Me

Hello world. My name is Von Jackson. I'm an 18 y/o from Jackson, Mississippi. I currently attend Jackson State University (JSU) where I am an accounting major in the universities honors college. For all my music buffs, I'm also a memeber of the JSU Sonic Boom of the South Marching Band which is known throughout the world as a famed music program. Throughout my adolescent years I have always been a progressive thinker and I have been known to have a highly inquisitive mind. I love to read and I enjoy helping others. My main interests are music, movies, history, world events, religions, and business. That is most likely what I will write about here on Helium.
My immediate career goal is to become a CPA after completing college. My ultimate career goal is to become a successful sports agent. My life goals are to one day be able to give back to my hometown. Jackson is a place with an amazing history and I would love to see it return to its former glory days.

I write to express my thoughts to the world. I think I have a lot of good help that I can provide to others

was my last home baseball game

As an 18 year old, I believe I am the best qualified person I know on the subject of growing up as a teenager. From personal experience, I have come to realize that most of my success to this point has been a result of my discipline and eagerness to do well. I owe these two personal attributes to after school activities. My entire life I have been involved in some way with extracurricular programs and as a result I have grown into a productive citizen in my community.
