I am an active musician, writer, and have been told that I am an overall decent mammal with a very relaxed gate. I have spent several years polishing my skills as a songwriter, and have, as a result, developed some skill in creative writing. I do prefer to write lyrics, but will gladly admit that I find myself constantly writing my first book. I have several first books, and maybe one day I'll actually complete one.
I play drums in an acoustic rock band. Feel free to check us out at

I lived in Alaska for 7.5 years working for the University of Alaska's Agricultural Research Station. I studied Natural Resources Management, with an emphasis in plant and soil science while working for the university.
In November of 2004 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. After six months of chemotherapy I was given a clean bill of health and a new outlook on life. I finally decided that work was work and that I really wanted to write and play music. I still work, but I am definitely more dedicated to the pen and the pick.
I am here to learn, to write, to read, and hopefully to continue improving my writing.
