Now that my credentials have necessarily been stated (hopefully I did not bore you too much) , please let me share with you why I have chosen to write..

As a physician, I embrace the mission to make life better for all. As a recognized expert in my field, hopefully my writing provides knowledge and insight to help improve well-being at work, home, and at play. I strive to help health-conscious consumers make informed choices about health products and health services. It has been my goal since a youth to have an impact on the health of our publicnow my current professional role in our community has finally made this a reality. My mission in authoring is to become a recognized leader for health promotion and health education not only in our region but also in our nation-because I am passionate about this cause! Unfortunately, in today's society, it is difficult to know which "health literature" to trust because it is written by everyone and anyone! Hopefully, I will earn the trust of my audience on the topic of optimum health advice and become a trusted teacher and motivator of great health in our culture.

Although my writings are based on expert scientific evidence, it is written for the non -healthcare person to understand easily and with common language and sometimes even some integrated humor where appropriate. I do not proclaim any miraculous treatments and/or therapiesI guess you could say in a way, my philosophy is a mix between "old fashioned" and innovation using 21st century medical expertise in discussion. While I am open-minded and support the use of some non-traditional therapies for some conditions, I will not advocate use of therapies that are inaccurate, unscientific, and/or unproven. I believe in modern medicine, but I also believe that we still have much room for improvement as well. I speak to the reader with the same integrity that I would use with a familiar patient of mine.

I would be interested in a publishing relationship for my 2008 book titled Your Optimum Health-A Pathway to Peace and Prosperity. Not coincidentally, the title of my book is "Your Optimum Health", because my goal is to do just that! Your Optimum Health provides, in my opinion, the most current reliable and credible information available on healthagain that is my mission. My book is honest expert opinion of current health in the US todayfor many levels of reader education and consists of simple scientific evidence/reference as well as interesting anecdotal stories. This book combines expert advice with a real-life view of where we stand today and the most prevailing health issues in our nation. I cover a wide range of health issues including but not limited to disease state management, nutrition and diet, vitamins, minerals, herbs and other nutritional supplements, exercise and fitness, and environmental issues, and alternative medicine.

Thank you sincerely for choosing to read what I offer.I am hopeful that it will make a difference in your life!

"Optimum health contributes to peace and prosperity."

For example, take the stairs as opposed to the elevator (or escalator which is often only one floor). This topic could have very well been a part of the physical activity chapter, but I felt it a good idea to give a reminder about remaining physically active. Emphasis on taking the stairs as a regular good habit also deserves a little added attention than mere mention. St...
