My dream has always been to become a writer. As a child I adored writing, and it showed. My grades in English were always more than acceptable, and teachers encouraged me to continue writing.
In high school and college I took as many English and writing classes as I could. However, I gave in to the popular idea that most people could not make money writing books and I pursued a major in Political Science.
After fourteen years of making no money while working clerical positions in the health care field, I quit my job. It was time to finally pursue my dream of becoming a writer. I knew I needed to focus completely on writing if I wanted to produce anything of quality.
I look forward to a challenging career as a writer, and to improving my skills with each article I write. I also welcome constructive criticism as it is the only way to improve my writing.
