My grandfather 'not' asleep in his big comfy recliner, when the children would change the channel he'd say "I'm not asleep turn that back on!"

Why I write ...

It's a release of the stressors from each day. How else can you sum up what happened when you were three, how your day was, and the many intricate ways you've dreamed up to end your sad existence?

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

right now, watching the rose bowl parade, reading-any # of novels.

My first job ...

I really don't want to talk about it... Well actually, my first employment opportunity was at McDonald's

Singing on stage? Finishing my first novel? Finding my first love? Letting go of said first love (this one has happened by degrees)

i used to hide myself in words wrapped in a cocoon of pain a blanket of insecurity and none was the wiser. I'd slide into the depths of the pool of despair the ink dripping from my fingertips like blood from an enemy fought against but never won. I would ache and cry out in my room, alone- away from the world in my very own seclusion, a sanctuary wrapped in the darkness. Friends filter in and out like light through treetops the wind blows and away they go falling to the forest floor, broken friendships abound.
