How do I find enough faith to believe that prayer works? It is faith in prayer that we are discussing and that requires going to the Word of God to do the study. Faith is not something you look for inside yourself, but it is found in the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the preaching of the gospel, Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” If then, faith comes from believing what God has said, we also have to consider to whom prayer is directed toward, and that would be God, the Author of the Bible.
