About me - Sage Taylor Richardson

About me

I am a New Englander with a creative streak a mile wide looking to rediscover my love for storytelling and honing my skills as a budding writer. I enjoy sharing stories about my passion for dogs, animals, and nature in general, about God's presence in my life and the faithfulness He shows me each day, and about all the crazy predicaments I manage to get into. (Ask me about the time I managed to strand my little Honda in a Maine washed out streambed that started innocently enough as a real road with a name and asphalt and a map location and everything...)

I am an artist with a degree in fine art photography; I also create mixed media collages and necklaces made with stones, glass beads and natural items. My husband and I also write and record music and we're working on a new cd and a new website. I have two rescue dogs, Kei and Mac, who keep predictability in life at arm's length; no doubt their presence will grace many of my published postings.

I am also a percussionist and vocalist for my church worship team and relish spreading the joy of the Lord all over the congregation on any given Sunday morning!

Thank you for visiting my page...

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Jesus, nature and animals, music and art, swimming in the sea, walking just about everywhere my little feet will take me...

I know too much about ...

Nothing! Just when I think I know something about anything, there are more things to learn about the things.

My parents always told me ...

'Stop making faces at your sister or it will freeze that way!'

My childhood ambition ...

I wanted to be an artist for Walt Disney Studios, and a veterinarian, and a forest ranger.

My favorite memory ...

One of those rainy spring afternoons playing cards with my grandmother and laughing until our stomachs hurt.

Why I write ...

It's another avenue for creativity and I love sharing ideas and telling stories!

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Reading: Reading: Always reading! Right now, Memoirs of a Geisha and Boundaries, by David Cloud. I don't watch much TV... And I'm listening to Darlene Zschech and the Hillsongs worship team, Ollabelle and all kinds of world music.

My first job ...

Hmmm, babysitter, dogwalker, dishwasher, yardcleaner, snow shoveller, leaf raker...oh. did you mean REAL job?!

My best moment ...

Graduating from college with high honors after putting myself through school single handedly while working full time and taking care of 3 dogs and a cat. WHEW!

My inspiration ...

God and His glorious creation!
