First, thank you for your interest in me. I always felt that I have a fire inside me that I wanted to express. I was thrilled when I found Helium because I can now put a voice to what's inside me. I realize it may seem a bit silly, but I am so very ambitious and want to contribute my talents, thoughts, feelings to the global community.
I'm sure that everyone has seen or heard of some injustice or, even, just felt that one thing or another could be done better. That's how I feel most of the time. I don't want to be a hero or some kind of saint; I just want to make a difference by making someone else's life just a little better or brighter. At the same time, if I had the chance to change the world, I most certainly would grab the reins and take up the charge.
I am a student of life. I love to analyze the smallest details of the world around me. It's such a thrill for me to discover something new, or learn something that I didn't know before.
I live in the Pittsburgh area with my dog, Judy. There are so many points in my life that I could say "I wish the chips had fallen a different way," although, I know that if they did, I wouldn't be who I am today.
My passion is ...
life. Theatre, tennis, photography, my dog and my wonderful fiancee
I know too much about ...
everything, but not enough to be an expert in anything.
My parents always told me ...
to rinse my plate and put it in the dishwasher after I was finished with my dinner.
My childhood ambition ...
was to be a doctor, and astronaut, a mechanic, an entrepenuer, an actor, a professional tennis player, a scientist, an archiologist... did I miss anything?
My favorite memory ...
is the day I met my future wife. I knew it the moment I saw her. It's cheesy and cliche, but 100% true.
Why I write ...
is because I feel so passionately about so many things that if I didn't have an outlet, I'd go crazy.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
is this strange music that seems to come from nowhere in my house. It sounds like a distant radio, but I can't make out anything that it is playing.
My first job ...
was a busboy at a local family restaurant. I saved $300 that summer all in one dollar bills
My best moment ...
is anytime I'm on stage in front of an audience.
My inspiration ...
is my heart.
A question that is brought up by the very thing that it offers to correct: ignorance. Martin Luther King, Jr. once stated: "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." It is no secret that the human race fears most what it does not understand. From that fear, the most intense hatred is born and mass conflict arises. I believe that the purpose of our schools is to eliminate hatred, fear and ignorance through the liberal education of our young people.
