I am a retired Child Protective Services worker and English teacher living now in Nevada. I continue to volunteer with Family Services helping to write grants. I have always been involved in children's causes and now have a foundation named after me. I have lived in several states including Alaska and spent three years in the Philippines. Poetry is a great love of mine - a beautiful way of expressing feelings and emotions.
A New Beginning May I step reverently into each new day Filled with awe and wonder That another sunrise has been given, That on earth there is a heaven.
