Lost.

"You can't hide, Chrissie!" a voice called out of the darkness. With no place to turn, I duck into the nearest room and silently dropped into a corner, hoping that I blended in with the rest of the lit up room. Suddenly, the footsteps sounded close, too close for comfort. This was end; I knew it but I wasn't prepared for it either. There was no way out. I started to shift closer to the corner as the soft thumps drew closer and closer, each step marking my demise. "So you thought you could hide, eh?"
