On the twenty-eighth day of August 1976 which coincidentally was the Chinese year of the Dragon and one of his favorite mythical entities, J.G Pile(www.asgardfiction.com to the fictional characters in his head), was ushered screaming from the warm comforts of his loving mother's body into the harsh uncertainties of life as we know it.
With a penchant for asking too many questions and intrigued by what laid beyond thinking outside the box, this toddler who was born and raised in the Caribbean island of Barbados spent most of his time playing with imaginary underground aliens and ridiculous super powers. It wasn't until his sister bought him his first Hardy Boys Mystery at the age of nine that he discovered the world of putting stories of intrigue, wonder and suspense onto paper to share with other like minded souls. Addicted to the adventures of young crime sleuths, J.G. went out to seek and solve his own mysteries but found them extremely slow in coming amidst the tropical landscape, so was contented to create them himself and commit them to paper.
Throughout his high school education, J.G. reluctantly at first, also garnered an appreciation for Shakespeare, the Bronte sisters and the complexities of James Joyce while studying for his secondary school's Cambridge Examinations in English Literature.
After passing his examinations and wanting to experience the working world, J.G. landed a job with the Caribbean's biggest airline as an airline agent, which gave him plenty of future material as he had to battle wits with drug couriers, document counterfeiters and the phalanx of illegal immigrants. It was at the airline that J.G. met his lovely future wife who he married in 2006, after she immigrated to East Hartford, Connecticut. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, J.G. joined his beloved and continues his pursuit of becoming a best selling fiction writer.

It seems like just yesterday I was racing home to enjoy the tunes of my favorite radio show called Rock of the Ages' on one of the premiere local radio stations. Growing up in the Caribbean island of Barbados my friends often teased me on my love for Rock and Roll, which was as far away as one could get from Calypso, Dancehall and Reggae.
