Loyce is a freelance writer and Copy Editor. She was born in Nairobi, Kenya a little over a quarter-century ago.
She has been writing since first discovering the art as a young girl and has worked as an English tutor for grade and middle school students in her native homeland.
She is also currently enrolled at C.I School of Theology and the Ohio State University Continuous Education Writing skills Programs.
She is the director of 'Spielworks', a creative media production outlet currently involved in scriptwriting and production for Television in Kenya; also providing web content writing, professional copy editing and proofing for various clientele. (www.spielmedia.com)
Loyce was recently awarded a Citizen Journalism award by the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting for her essay "Why Should the World care about the environment in places like Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe". She was consequently featured in an interview on BBC World News together with The Pulitzer Center Director, Jon Sawyer.

She is passionate about addressing cultural stereotypes and promoting social justice, contributing to these causes in and through her writings.
