What can I say? I've been writing for years! I was writing as a child, the creative arts are in the blood! My sister writes. My 16 year old daughter also writes for Helium, my brother is an actor, my father is a musician.
I live in the UK, in the city of Sheffield.(It's a great city, by the way!) I live with my 2 kids. I am a single parent, and I am 46 years old.

My life reads like a work of fiction. One day I'll write it in a book. (My friend's and family urge me to get on with it! but I'm not sure I want to face all my 'demons' right now!) But until that day comes, I will share the pleasure I get from writing, with Helium.

I really enjoy reading, and am interested in a wide variety of different subjects...too many for me to list here!

Why do I like reading? For me, it allows me escape my own world, and sample the different lives, and viewpoints of others, whether that be fact or fiction. Reading truly educates, and Inspires me to write myself.

I have recently been appointed as a Sub Channel Steward for the style and beauty channel on Helium, which I am so excited about! I will be watching over the skin care channel. So I hope to give encouragement to my fellow writers, to keep up the good work, and help Helium to be even better.

We live in a fast moving world, and sometimes we have all on, just to do our hair and make-up!
