About me

Briefly me

My passion is ...

the great outdoors and the natural environment. A glass of good wine at sunset after an active day outdoors satisfies the soul.

I know too much about ...

Sea Lice. Bitten over three hundred times by what are actually jellyfish larvae, I now know more then I want to about these ugly little parasites common in the summer months off the coast of South Florida

My parents always told me ...

that anything was possible.

My childhood ambition ...

after watching movie of ship wrecked survivors on a tropical island, I always thought it would be cool to sail around the world on my own boat.

My favorite memory ...

Intoxicated by endorphins from running around for two hours on my 12th birthday, I remember a splendid feeling as I entered the birthday room with the cake, candles and the warm vibe of birthday heaven.

Why I write ...

I think I have a lot to say, and have had positive feedback on several local and statewide articles which has inspired me.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I have always been interested in new ways to think and subsequently read a lot of philosophy. Additionally, I have enjoyed watching movies, documentaries or other shows that leave me with something to ponder as it might relate to my life or desired lifestyle. Musically, I enjoy a variety of music ranging from the "Cure" to Enigma and occasionally, listen to spiritual music.

My first job ...

I worked a winter in the swamps of Redding, Connecticut moving dead trees and debris from the area.

My best moment ...

There have been several that have stood out, but moments that contain the best of life for me include the social element, some grand recognition or satisfaction with work or personal accomplishment and those moments combine with some beautiful natural outdoor setting usually make my list of top experiences.

My inspiration ...

People that have faced great personal adversity and still retain positive spirit while overcoming incredible odds to a successful conclusion inspire me.

As disgusting as the above practice is, it has been caught on tape by the main stream media many times showing us all that we need to be vigilant about reporting such violations of consumer trust.
