About me - Robin Loving

About me

I am a politically  active "No Kill" Animal Advocate currently residing in Eugene, Oregon...with special interest in the areas of 'shelter-reform', 'spay/neuter', 'off-site adoption events' and 'hands-on shelter work'....(taking a small break for 'personal' reasons...:).

I've lived in Oregon for the past two decades, and plan to stay until natural disaster strikes and I am forced to move....provided I'm still here, that is. I can't imagine a prettier place than where I live next to the Willamette river.

My dream for this life, is to eventually have a Retirement Center for senior dogs and cats who have no other place to go. I'd love to tuck them in at night and tell them all, that they are loved and everything will be alright.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Animals and music. Music and Animals. hmmmm...combined we have a song about animals...I'll work on that.

I know too much about ...

how our Government works

My parents always told me ...

things I never understood, until I experienced them myself.

My childhood ambition ...

Ballerina...(that would have required a bit of grace though I believe).

My favorite memory ...

Paris with my younger sister in the 60's

Why I write ...

...everyone has their own evolving view of life...to capture it as a moment in time, and put it into words is a challenge I love.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

My moods dictate all of these things to me...

My first job ...

Waitress at a "Bob's Big Boy" in Phoenix Ariz. HATED IT!

My best moment ...

"Peaking" in Frankfurt

My inspiration ...

is quite like a tidal wave when it does come around...I think the psychological term, when applied, is "bi-polar"

She'd rear-up and drop it, then stare in my eyes Dare me to take it. I did...no surprise... Her soft gra...
