: About Me

I'm a vegan, philosopher, writer, conveyancer, mother of 4, grandmother of 5, with a passion for lifelong learning, personal growth, rescue dogs, and music. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the local university, several Writing courses in the Professional Certificate of Writing program. I have earned Can-Fit-Pro (Canadian Fitness Professional) certifications in NWS - Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, and PTS - Personal Trainer Specialist. I have always loved writing and my whole life have entertained the idea/vision of writing in a cabin in the woods amongst the trees and nature.

I currently work as a Legal Assistant and Field Interviewer with Statistics Canada.

I'm an animal lover and have rescued several deathrow dogs from North Carolina, and gas shelter dogs from Louisiana, some being part of my pack in Canada.  I adore all animals and no longer eat animals. Animals are the most wonderful companions. One of my former little dogs was rescued by the Humane Society and was brought into the shelter as a result of a drug raid when his owner was put in jail. He reminds me how much I wish everyone knew to go to their local animal shelter to offer a home to these beautiful loving animals. Always remember to go to your local animal shelter if you are looking for a new friend. There are so many animals in need of being saved.  Often you will find the best friend imaginable at the shelter. So often they truly seem to appreciate your love forever as they seem to know what you have done for them - so much that words cannot describe it.

I love learning, growing, and improving myself in whatever ways possible. I'm vegan. I am compassionate and I like helping people to improve their life.

sadness and loss sometimes. I feel so sad for the loss of young people and innocent lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a mother, singer, writer, and veterinarian. I used to wish for a monkey, a donkey,and a pony or horse when I wished on birthday candles or a wishbone.
