About me

Mark "Doc" Lane is one of the most recognized figures in the world of automobile retailing.
Lane at 56 years of age has spent 45 of those years in the retail automotive industry.

Lane has operated some of the largest Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan dealerships in Northern California and Southern Nevada.

He also has had one of the top rated Automotive Radio shows during the past four years. Doc Lane's Automotive Journal recently broadcast on Clear Channel, KNEW 910 from San Francisco for the past year and a half. Prior to that the show broadcast from Las Vegas.

Lane's co-host was Andrew Frankl whom is a world renowned freelance automobile writer, and currently is the European Chief of Staff for the Auto Channel.

Their guests have been the like of Robert Lutz of General Motors, and all of the top executives in the industry, as well as releasing information not heard on any other automobile radio show.

They had reporters at all NASCAR and Formula One races, and had live reports from China and the Japanese Formula one races this year. Also they had insight with Lewis Hamilton who at 22 dominated the circuit this year.

Lane also is a television personality and respected speaker.

Lane also is a three time cancer survivor, and has returned to his home in Las Vegas from San Francisco to continue to move forward in this ever changing industry.
