I am a 26 year old wife and mother of three. I live in Southeast Missouri but have lived all over the south. I recently closed my pet store after 9 years. I love animals and currently have snakes, a parrot, a dog, and 4 large fish aquariums. I love to write, to share, and to read. I use blogging and writing to release stress and to stay more connected with the world. I am known for my strong opinions and upfront nature. Luckily most people find that a good trait because I always try to be considerate when I speak my mind and not down right rude.

To run away to New York and become an artist or to California to be a vet.

Her heart is heavy in her chest. She's weary from the long day. The doctors walk in; she holds her breath. She's fearful of what they'll say. Trying not to scream because she won't stop. She watches the soundless blinking lights. The doctors talk of treatments and tests, She longs to take away the tubes and hold him tight, Twenty two years later she sits in a hospital room, not that different from when he was young.
