Lately I have been observing the turmoil in our real estate market. While trying to make some sense of it, I realize that Alan Greenspan has not been duly blamed for creating the turmoil. Right before and especially after the September 2001 attacks on NYC, Greenspan lowered federal interest rates to all time low. Granted it was to spur economic growth.
