All existence for me stems from a little town that sprouted on the outskirts of the Rio Grande River. I'm sure that there was a whole wide world living and loving long before my birth. Yet, none of that matters to me. It's amazing how life happens, in the beginning you spend hundred of days eating, sleeping, breathing, existing and yet at the time these imperative moments mean nothing to me at all. My parents have a plethora of pictures; first steps, birthdays, and of course the "cute" pictures. I can stare at them, hold them, cherish them, but I can't ever remember those precious moments that they hold so dear. Then one day, out of the clear blue sky I realize I am person, I understand I have purpose, and most importantly I recollect. I begin to store all these memories in the file cabinets of my mind; classifying them with trigger words so that when in the midst of company I can recollect a sweet little anecdote to pass the evening.
So many evenings and events have included the many fascinating stories of years past when I was young and uninhibited. So many tales of life and love that it is amazing to me that at times I have forgotten I once lived them. Thats is when the true realization of my life's goal suddenly came to me. I became aware that this nine to five grind, i had confined myself to, was not the career that would establish my true identity. I am a writer, a candid voice with many stories to tell, to share with whom ever will listen, and so I've compiled them here for you.
Enjoy,
Jacqueline

I gaze in your eyes with their wisdom deeper than mine; As our two hearts fight the confusion of time. Chorus: Can't hear the whispers, even though they resound. Can't see the looks, though there everywhere to be found. I only see your face, that reassures my doubts, and they can spread their rumors till the whole world finds out.
