I grew up with deaf parents within a generation, for them, was woefully deficient in the English language. I had to balance my interpretations to a much baser form of understanding for them. Yet, I have always longed to express my thoughts in a more detailed and colorful way. I began to write only for myself as a way of therapy and release at a very early age. I shared them with only a few close people in my life. I lacked the belief they were worthy enough to express beyond my circle.
It is only now that I am 50 years of age that I am ready to put my writings out there.
Much encouragement has come friends and my grown children. It is to them and my dear departed grandmother who encouraged me in my artistic expressions, that I dedicate my efforts at this time.
I hope you enjoy my writings and thoughts as much as I did writing them.

Fragile Balance What do you find deep in your mind? Excuses? Fears? Truth, or Lies? What lies do you tell yourself to keep truth at bay? What do you tell yourself? What do you say? Will you face your fears with armor earned through the years? Do you hold onto the lies that has brought heartache and tears? Are you resilient? Are you brave? Do you choose the path that you alone have made?
