My given name is Ricky Norris Faulkner. Born in the south on Labor Day in sixty, raised in the Midwest. Have touched down on many different soils, but nothing compares to Denver Colorado. Been abroad twice, now settled in the South.

I'm just me being me.I come 'as is', what you see is what you get. Will probably always look for the shortcut, love to freelance and I love to write. When I write you'll get the truth. I must warn you, I write how I talk, therefore I write all kinds of ways. There is something else...

I love mind games and mental challenges, but many times my witticism is mistaken as an unfiltered gusting wind of sarcasm. Never been interested in exclusive clubs, for these cocktails of nonevents are nothing short of exclusionary clubs...an alternate and indirect attempt at self-canonization.

There isn't a relationship in the world comparative or equivalent to my relationship with GOD, a relationship that is always work in progress...so not a choirboy! I thank GOD that I haven't gone through life combating a lot of life's addictions and excesses. But there are some other surpluses that are equally less impressive, but I'm yet battling.

My significant other is a great old-fashion gal whom I've been married to for nearly a quarter of a century, we have a son, whom we love to death.

Another thing...I don't have any qualms with or against ebony and ivory one-on-one. They are just as beautiful as or as rotten as all of the other relationships.

Don't have an earned degree from an university, an optional ignorance, but something that is superior to a high school education. But I have an earned degree in flunking many of life's tests over and over again.

Well this is a general compendium personal and up close. Interesting...maybe; intriguing...that's a stretch.

Have you ever wonder about youth? It's on loan you know. It's temporary. One day we are infants, before you know a toddler, then school age, a teen after that, a young adult a little later and before old age creeps in we're middle aged. Physically we've finally met our match...even if we don't face up to it right away. But we all come face to face with this reality. Hopefully we've earned our stripes and made good use of the younger years which was to prepare us for this very time. Hope no one is fretting too much. It's alright.
