There are many ways to say 'I love you.' Some people come from families where love isn't expressed very well and neither is affection. Because of serious illness, I once considered abortion when I could barely do my daily tasks. It didn't take long after thinking it over and talking to a friend to change my mind. I kept reading my nutrition book and even visited a Naturopathic physician and began to slowly feel healthy enough to carry my child to term. I had... More..

Politics, News & Issues > Food & Agriculture Effects of the free range chicken movement on environmental awareness
4 of 11

Many years ago, I saw pictures of chickens overstuffed into wire chicken coops with their feet and other parts pushed out of the cage due to lack of room. They looked sickly and couldn't be considered well cared for and God knows you wouldn't want to eat one of them after you saw the conditions they were raised in. They also... More..

Creative Writing > Reflections Reflections: Autumn inspiration

There's nothing like Autumn to reawaken the senses. The brilliance of red, orange, yellow and green leaves on the trees with the red-orange sunset has caused many a camera buff to take his camera along on a stroll through the park or woods as they reawaken the sense of sight. Many fashion-conscious people prefer the earth col... More..
