Hey, I'm the horses sub-channel steward for Helium.com and let me introduce myself...
I live in Wisconsin where I grew up on the family dairy farm. I was raised around dogs, cats, cattle and horses. I have a B.S. in Agricultural Marketing Communications with a minor in animal science. College is where I refined my animal knowledge and skills and enhanced my writing skills through journalism and writing courses.
I have experience in graphic design and newspapers; livestock feeding and handling; many aspects of agriculture; and worked as a proofreader and designer for two college newspapers and three local newspapers. I also have 12 years experience with horses, where I have knowledge and experience in barefoot hoof trimming, riding and driving.
If you have any suggestions or questions, send me a message! I look forward to hearing from you...after all, we all make the site better!
