Michael Roeder was born In Queens NY. Gaining the experiences of daily life in a basically quiet suburban area his mind developed a creative quality that has been deeply appreciated and well utilized by him. At the end of the prior century the need to release his creative force to more than the people close to him became overwhelming. Searching for a proper medium to release his imagination he applied to the Creative Writing Program at Purchase College and was denied entry into the program. Understanding the value of the education that the program offered he became a literature major and continued to work on his portfolio now with the guidance of the new contacts that he had made at the University. Eventually he reapplied to the program and was accepted. At the start of the new millennium he moved to Yonkers and pursued his passion for creativity with his focus on writing. He graduated from the Creative Writing Program at Purchase College in 2005. His photography and fiction could be seen in numerous issues of Soul Fountain, a literary journal that originated close to his hometown, Chasing Dreams, Great Poems of the Western World and on his blogs; unknownuniversalsingularity.blogspot.com and fictionmike.wordpress.com. He will continue to compliment his imagination with new creation through his writing and photography as well as pursue his musical interests. His passion for developing his own creativity is growing and he is eager to share his work with the world in hopes of encouraging others to do the same.
