About me - Mikeanthony

About me

I was born in London but now live in Plymouth, Devon.

I am a zoologist, writer and author as well as making jewellery in my spare time. I normally write non-fiction but this past couple of years I have taken up fiction in a big way. I have completed three parts of a sit-com for television; two plays for radio; and several short stories as well as a gay novel. At the moment I am trying to complete a novella at the Plymouth City Museum Writers Group. Not an easy task.
My non-fiction books are Marmosets in Captivity published by Bassett Publications here in Plymouth where I live. The other is called Super-Pets and Smart Owners published by Parapress, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
I have used www.lulu.com to put a couple of pieces of my work on and they are starting to sell.

My interests are naturally animals and writing as well as the theatre; opera; cinema; ballet; and good food especially hot curries. These can be either Thai, Indian or Chinese. I enjoy cooking as well and experimenting with different foods.

Here is my cv in case anyone wants to know a little more of my past.
