If not, here's hoping that this will entice you to do so. Because one way or another I'm going to elaborate on one of the following thoughts in an article.
Who am I? Well, this writer recently stumbled upon the universal wisdom of exercise and being active which is the fuel for my latest passions of running and cycling.
To me, happiness is a decision. In my world people should remain curious about life and people throughout our lifetimes.
Some of the greatest concepts are collaboration, innovation and creative thought.
Laughing and connecting with others, making new friends and keeping old friends lead me to embrace my passions which include reading, writing, creating fun, cycling, running, being an advocate for health and social issues.
Poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoirs (the true ones) all reach out to me for reading.
Taking a page from Eleanor Roosevelt's life, I try to do one thing each day that scares me. Writing used to be that thing. Don't ask why. Either you get it or you don't. I won't be able to explain it. Regardless, I've found that the things I once considered scary no longer seem so, once I stared realizing that I'd have to face one down every day. (Well, almost every day... still working on the discipline!)

I write when I have something to say. And I write in the hopes that what I have to say will inspire someone.

I'm reading "Thinking for a Change" and "Love in the Time of Cholera", watching "Heroes" and "Lost", listening to Christmas music.

was a paper route.

in general, long bike rides. Particularly, RAGBRAI.
My inspiration ...
other people. I love to listen to other people's stories. And I love to share stories.
I miss my sister. Ruth Anne lives only 70 miles away. But I miss her. We go way back. In high school when the "cool" girls would avoid kid sisters like the plague, I always made sure my sister came along. Of course. We're sisters. But despite that we forged a strong friendship growing up. Two years my junior, she and I each had our own friends, but her friends were my friends and mine were hers. We all mingled.
