: About Me

Whelp, what can I say? I love poetry. Not necessarily reading it, because it gives me more and more ideas of more things to write, and eventually takes over ALL of my spare time... Haha but it is amazing and I am grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful gift such as writing poetry. I am glad that I have a public place to store all of my well-written stories and poems for the whole world to see.

I grew up in foster care- crazy experiences the whole way...Some of my most hardest times were growing up. When the adults only wanted to listen to you express your feelings because they got PAID for it, it was hard. Looking for even a small degree of love, when all I've ever wanted in life were parents, it was even harder. And now look- all grown up, got my own place and car, work at a great job, school is paid for, everything's provided for me that many kids my age would've fought their whole lives to get. It's not that I am ungrateful in any way, because I am still trying to catch my breath from how fast life went by, but something deep inside me still says that somewhere down the lines I truly missed out...I didn't wanna have to wait 'til I was grown-up to be a part of a family. But somewhere in my near future, I'll have what I've always wanted, only I'll be the parent instead of the child. Will I be ready? ...Maybe I should write a poem about that. =)

I write to express my feelings. There's always something new to write about each day, and its usually nice if it has its own unique vibe to it.
