About me

I live in the Midwest and have been writing for fun all my life. Finally after hearing "you should write a book" too many times, I threw myself into a project with passion and have not looked back since. I am a musician as well. I've wonderful parents who are supportive. I am single (which is what my first book was about) and looking to make writing a full time career soon. But for now I am just looking for work to support my writing. I'm a Christian, I love travel, and I love to cook.

Why I write ...

I can't help it...I just need to let the words come out.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

reading - "Revelation" and "English: American Style" by McQuain; watching - Monk, House, CSI; and listening - everything

My first job ...

I started mowing lawns when I was so young I had to reach up to grab the handles of the puch mower. I had to have someone else start it for me because I couldn't pull fast enough to get it going.

My best moment ...

is yet to come...God's making me better everyday.

I'm intrigued by the idea that there is a specific way to behave on a first date. This seems to take the position that all first dates are the same. This is obviously not true. Behavior is dictated by what the date will be. If the date is to a wedding (yes, this actually happens) then one is to behave in a manner befitting the event. It is a joyous occasion and not a time to bring up your past relational problems or frustrations with your divorce.
