My husband and I no longer have children living at home, but our empty nest doesn't feel very empty, which is great! Our two adult daughters call often.
I do not work outside the home, but I keep myself busy sewing and maintaining my website and blog. Both the website and blog are related to teaching beginning sewing. I used to teach beginning sewing out of my home and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, as my parents began to age, and their health declined, I had to stop teaching for a while. When we moved to our current area, I didn't have the same opportunity to teach beginning sewing out of my home, so I have tried to "teach" sewing via my website and blog.
