An open letter to humanity on global warming I have noticed that we are obsessed with our own demise, a trend that movie & documentary makers have not missed either. You can see first hand on the big screen the million and one ways our planet, our society, or mankind will come to an end. PBS went as far as showing us how fast our planet would recover from mankind's' scars. I don't understand this romantic attitude humanity has over our fate; it goes against our innate nature to survive. We all came together during the cold war to save our children from nuclear war.
