I'm a freelance writer and part-time artist based in a small town in the Midlands, England. I am passionate about films and TV, and most of my writing is focused on these subjects. I have a degree in film studies and have worked on numerous film projects - you know the sort of thing, festival fodder! I even managed to get some of my own stuff shown at festivals in London, Germany and Cardiff.

I have had numerous articles published on-line, in magazines and in newspapers - and I also reviewed films on the telly (for a cable TV programme called Live Flix).

I'm also interested in music, books, culture, health, parenting, relationship issues and all the peculiarities of modern day life.

Amy Winehouse; a precocious talent, a unique personality, a terrific voice, an individual style and a tabloid's dream. The British red tops (the tabloid press) can't get enough of Amy, and what with all the tales of drink, drugs and criminal behaviour, Amy cannot help but invite curiosity. She is an enigma.
