: About Me

The one consistent thread in my fabric is writing. Other than that, it's a crazy quilt of many activities centered mostly around being creative, doing what I want, and cooking and eating lots of good food. I am also owned by a dog and two cats, who are kind to me allow me to type for hours on end while they entertain themselves chewing rawhide and chasing phantoms, respectively.

Frame drumming, organic food, simple living, shamanism, consciousness, peace: These are my current passions.

What individuals can do to help with climate change is the one thing the government and business have yet to do, and that is, to ask, "What is the impact of this policy/product on the climate?" How do we ask that? We ask by communicating with the companies and agencies with which we do business. We let the yogurt producer know that, although we love their product, their packaging worries us, and we ask them what they intend to do about it, and to let us know when they've addressed it, because for now we will do without, or buy elsewhere.
