I'm Roger Grant and this is about "I". I was born on the rock(Jamaica that is) in the month of May four decades ago. I attended a prominent High school Calabar in a middle class neighborhood of Kingston and graduated with excellent grades in the Caribbean Examinations. In school my favorite subjects were English Language,Literature and History. I have six children three from my previous marriage and three with my current wife. After leaving school I acquired a diploma in Entertainment Management and a certificate in Public Relations. After working in the government department of Public Prosecutions, I sold insurance and wrote for a small bi-weekly called The Boulevard News.
Then I found my true niche :music. I became a record producer and artist manager. I managed a young Guyanese expatriate in Jamaica called Natural Black placing two songs in the Jamaican top ten and subsequently toured the world except Africa. I migrated to the US and now run a recording studio out of Philadelphia called the Mello G Sound Lab and also run the Organic/Mello G record label. My next best love besides lady music is writing and I gravitate to issues to do with entertainment history and religion. Talk to you soon .Chow
