: About Me

I am a 30 year-old aspiring writer. I am big on topics like autism awareness, because my youngest son has autism, and workers' safety and wellness. I have an A.A.S. in Occupational Health & Safety Technology, and currently working on a B.A. in Communication.

I love fine art, and I spend much time drawing with charcoal, and painting. Arts & crafts is another hobby.
I also enjoy researching topics of interest, watching movies and keeping up with global events.

I was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad, and presently reside in Texas.

Writing has been a passion since I was able to hold a pen. Reading is a pleasure that takes me away from reality when I want a temporary escape.

The Spider I saw a spider web in my doorway. So beautifully designed. It prevented me from passing through, sitting perfectly aligned. The spider chose my doorway, fencing me safe inside. The spider guards my doorway, encouraging me to hide. I'll stay behind. I'll stay behind. Maybe it came to shield me from a world exceedingly unkind.
